Please note: We have a 12-hour minimum booking window, example: book by 7pm for a 7am lesson the following morning. Surf lessons canceled with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded.
Discounted surf lesson packages, surf day trips, and surf lesson gift certificates are non-refundable.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Surf lessons are held at Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Redondo Beach. Lesson location is decided the day before once we are able to see the updated surf forecast and choose the best location based on that.

  • Surf lessons can be rescheduled up to 24hrs before scheduled lesson time.

  • We recommend bringing your bathing suit (wetsuit will go over your bathing suit), sunscreen, a beach towel, and drinking water. If you wear glasses or contact lenses, we recommend wearing disposable contact lenses in case you lose them (rare but could happen). If you have hair extensions, we recommend wearing a swim cap to protect them. If you experience motion sickness, we recommend taking anti-motion sickness medication in advance.

  • Surfing is appropriate for 4yrs plus! Participants must have the desire to surf and basic swimming skills.
